“Fashion And Football” Collide To Celebrate NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is a time for former college athletes to get a chance of a lifetime, for others its a time to PARTY! A fury of parties kicked off NFL Draft week in New York City and were made sure to check out the scene. On April 26th, several day before the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall we headed to The 4th Annual Fashion And Football event hosted by The Fashion Reporter. The event was held at The Samsung Experience inside the Time Warner Center.

This year draftees who attended such as Tandon Doss were fitted in Perry Ellis’ Spring 2011 Collection. Besides NFL Draft hopefuls we got to see NFL Legends like Jarvis Green and Drew Givens, model Melyssa Ford, Que from Day 26 and Bad Girls Club Wilmarie Sena among many others.

It wouldn’t be a party with out the free stuff! Attendees were treated with White Castle burgers, cupcakes and other delicious treats from Baked by Melissa and cocktails by Jose Cuervo to wash it all down.

Most importantly the event is to raise awareness to the Jarvis Green Foundation, a foundation that supports single mothers in disadvantaged, low-income areas. A silent auction consisting of sports memorabilia and great items was held with all proceeds going to the foundation.
